Flower Shop

I love the new stamp set Flower Shop, not only is it super pretty but it has a matching punch, so that you never have to cut out the flowers! YAY!

Here’s a card using one of the flowers from the set.

The colours are the new In Colours – Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana & Strawberry Slush.  LOVE these colours!

The Happy Birthday is from another new stamp set – Remembering Your Birthday.  There’s 8 stamps in this set all for birthdays!

Mounting the Flower Shop Stamp Set & Bundle + free projects to make!

I just wanted to share a little tip I found when mounting the wood mounted Flower Shop stamp set.  There are a few ways, but I found this worked well for me.

I wanted to be able to stamp the flower images every time in the orientation, that allowed me to simply slip my Pansy punch over the top and punch, with out having to turn the stamped image around and around trying to work out how it fit properly every time i stamped a flower…

I first punched the Pansy punch from a piece of scrap card.  Without turning the card I then layed this over each flower image to work out which petal pointed down on the punch..

I then stuck the sticker onto the wood block in this exact position,
I then used the same method to work out the orientation the rubber and stuck them to the blocks.  I then had perfectly mounted flowers that were a breeze to stamp and punch!

I hope that helps!
