2017 Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip & New Holiday Mini

I thought I’d share just a little from our recent Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip. It was the South Pacific’s turn for location (the trip locations rotate between US, Europe and South Pacific). This year we have had an amazing Incentive Trip to Phuket! Stampin’ Up! spoilt us, and the whole Angsana resort was dedicated to Stampin’ Up! and decorated for the trip! The door to our rooms even had our names! What a welcome!

One of the highlights of the trip was our very first day! We were transported to a (thankfully) airconditioned “tent” location where all the achieving demonstrators from around the got to hear about the upcoming new Holiday Mini Catalogue, see new products AND receive new goodies! We even got to hear where the 2019 Incentive Trip will be held! It’s a Royal Carribbean Cruise through the Greek Isles!!!! AMAZING opportunity!Check out what we left this session with! Three new stamp sets, a new Framelit set, a punch AND a copy of the NEW Holiday Mini Catalogue! (Request your copy HERE)…That afternoon we headed to Patong for some shopping. Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trips are fantastic to connect with Demonstrators from around the world! We travelled and shopped at Patong with Vanessa and Simon from NSW, Sarah and Tim from Perth, Julie and Ross from England and Jennifer from the USA!

On Tuesday we visited the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary. An amazing experience. Please, if you are travelling and considering any sort of Elephant riding or animal experiences. PLEASE do your research first. The terrible abuse that these animals have to go through to work in these industries is appalling and travellers have a bit of “fun”, take a few photos and don’t actually think about the animals life before and after their visit. Your tourist dollars can often support a totally appalling industry!

At Phuket Elephant Sanctuary (You can follow their amazing work on Facebook HERE. ) we were able to hear about the lives of the elephants they have in their care, observe them in their peaceful homes, enjoying their surroundings and then we were treated to an amazing lunch while watching the Elephants play in the water some more. An amazing day!

Wednesday was an adventure from Stampin’ Up! As one of our pillow gifts, Stampin’ Up! took us on a speed boat ride to see James Bond Island, Panyi Island (A gypsie island build on water!), guided canoe trip and a private lunch on Rang Yai Island!

Thursday hubby and I hired a driver to do some sightseeing for the day, travelling around Phuket Island to see the beaches, teamples, the Big Buddah and an AMAZING lunch in the most gorgeous location!

Friday we had a rest day where we enjoyed the resort, the view from our room, cocktails by the pool and relaxation.

Friday evening was our final night for the Incentive Trip and SU again treated us to an amazing evening.

A fantastic dinner at the Blue Elephant. Authentic Thai buffet dinner and entertainment! A wonderful way to end the week!

Hubby and I continued onto Singapore for 5 days before heading back home. We had a ball here also, and it’s another amazing opportunity with these trip – to be able to extend and see other locations!

Singapore was amazing!

And finally arriving home and unpacking the gifts that we brought home from the Incentive Trip! Thank you Stampin’ Up!

Gorgeous mementos from an amazing trip

Stampin’ Up! Baby Bear.

Babybear2_stampinup_austral

I have been away for the past few weeks on the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip and while I meant to update my blog while away, it just didn’t happen.  Sheer exhaustion meant I could barely string two words together by the end of each day, and no it wasn’t any wine contributing to that! LOL

I arrived home on Tuesday morning completely sick.  So sick in fact that I couldn’t even comprehend that we had a BRAND NEW Stampin’ Up! catalogue begin yesterday!!!!

So today is a new day. I’m finally feeling better and I have a new stamp set to show you called Baby Bear.  It’s a three layer stamp set which allows you to build colour and create depth.  It’s super fun to use and was perfect for a baby card for my dear friend (and super mum) Meaghan who had her 8th baby just before I went away.  Here’s the “back up” card I made with Mint Macaron (I was sure that the pink one would be needed)

And Baby Bear in Blushing Bride:

The three levels of the Baby Bear were stamped first in Tip Top Taupe, then Soft Suede and finally Early Espresso.  Being a photopolymer stamp set, it’s easy to see exactly where you are stamping!

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Blooms. Australia

BirthdayBlooms2_stampinup

Today I wanted to share with you the new Birthday Blooms stamp set that became available just yesterday in the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions Mini Catalogue!  It isn’t just the stamp set that I love (p9), but also the co-ordinating 12×12 paper and accessories.  I couldn’t cram them all onto the one card! (I should actually give that a go!) so today I have the first card I made with this set – straight out of the catalogue.

Birthdayblooms3_stampinup

I added another one of my favourite products to this card… the Wink of Stella pen!  Can you see what this amazing pen does!… The photo doesn’t do this justice at all  But I love how easy it is now to add gorgeous glitter to any project!

You can see the Wink of Stella Pen in action in this Stampin’ Up! video!  Check it out!
