Stitched Framelits – Stampin’ Up! Australia

Stampin’  Up! have released a new product!  Stitched Framelits, and they come in a set that include Squares, Circles and Ovals, and also co-ordinate with oour exsisting layering dies!  Check them out in action:

I had a quick play with them last night as I received them yesterday.  My focus was on the beautiful Designer Series Paper and simple greetings.  You don’t need to complicate cards, colour co odination and beautiful products really do speak for themselves.. The little dots are enamel shapes

More gorgeous paper with a few pearls…

To add just a little more pop, I’ve accented with the Wink Of Stella Pen.  It’s hard to photograph, but I added a little bing to the flower images as well as around the stitched framlit shape…

A little more Wink of Stella…

I love how the Stitched Framelits can be used on their own or with the Stampin’  Up! Layering Framelits…

If you would like to order the Stitched Framelit Dies during Novemner, simply pop in the following host code when checking out and I’ll send you the card pack to complete the above cards (all you need it your own inks) as well as your choice of a pack of Enamel Shapes or Pearls.

(If your order is over $250, don’t enter the host code as you will qualify for your own extra benefits and I’ll post you the above items as well!)

More Best Birds – Stampin’ Up! Australia

IMG_6029I had coloured a few birds the other day…. One with Cajun Craze and he made it onto this next card.

I love the colour Cajun Craze and it’s featured in the Moroccan Designer Series Paper!  Add a little Emerald Envy and you have the perfect colour combo!

BestBirds3_stampinup_stampwI also made one of the new popcorn boxes using the same colour scheme…

BestBirds5_stampinup_stampwThey don’t exactly co-ordinate since one says “Happy Birthday” and the other “Thank you” BestBirds2_stampinup_stampw

But there you have it.  More fun with the Best Birds stamp set and matching Framelits..

Bella & Friends – Stampin’ Up!

A couple of months ago we lost our much loved Oscar.  He took off after a cat (why don’t people lock these up at night) and was hit by a car, it was one of those situations where the elements all lined up in the worst way.  While we knew how much he meant to us while he was here, it was totally compounded after he was gone.  Who would thought that a house of 2 adults and 4 children would seem too quiet?

In an attempt to “jump back on the horse” in a way, we decided to add another family member to our home, in the form of a puppy.  Oh my, what a shock!  Teddy has joined our home and we have been reminded of the joys a baby brings.  The constant attention, house training, everything goes in his mouth!  The fun…. hahaha.  What I wouldn’t give to have been able to introduce him to Oscar as well..

And so when I saw the puppy stamp set in the new catalogue I just had to buy it!  It has the cutest dog stamps I’ve seen for ages, and while I haven’t had a good play with it yet, I just love everything about the images.
