There’s a cute stamp set in the new 2017 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Catalogue called Santa’s Suit. All the elements are stamped, so you don’t need to colour! Simply stamp the outline and then stamp the colour! And finally there’s a matching Framelit set, so you don’t even have to fussy cut all of Santa’s elements!
A little Wink of Stella to Santa’s beard and hat add some sparkle, and a couple of silver enamel stars.
I’m loving the new Tags & Trimmings Stamp Set and the co-ordinating Trim Your Stocking Dies from the current Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Catalogue. I’ve made an advent calendar with 25 of the stockings (I’ll share that in another post) but I wanted to show you how great the stamps and dies are for cards and other projects too!
You can’t see all that well in the piccie, but the background has been made with some of the new Embossing Texture Paste. Simple smooth over the template and sprinkle on the glitter and allow to dry… Turns out so pretty and great when you want a background that isn’t overwhelming. How cute is the mini sequin trim ribbon!?
This next card uses the same stamps from the set. I love these two colours together. Very traditional Christmas colours – Real Red & Emerald Envy.
This next card uses the stocking die, without assembling into a gift box. Again I’ve used the Embossing Paste for the background.
I love the variety of dies in the set. There’s so many pieces!
And finally a little pillow box! Again all from the dies in the Trim Your Stocking Die set!
