I can’t remember where I saw this idea with the Beachy Little Christmas stamp set, but I loved it! A simple wash of colour over the images that have been heat embossed with white embossing powder. Easy! Colouring, without actually having to colour in!
A couple of cut out shells and ribbon, and you have an easy, non traditional Christmas card.
Hope you are all having a chance to stamp this weekend. It’s rainy and cool here in Brisbane! Where’s Summer?

Today I have the NEW Stampin’ Up!, Stampin’ Blends Markers to share with you! I’m totally in LOVE!! The Stampin’ Blends Markers simplify colouring and shading and are the very easiest way to get into beautiful colouring.
Stampin’ Blends are alcohol based markers (while our Stampin’ Write Markers are water-based) which means you need to use them with the Black Memento Ink Pad and our Whisper White cardstock to get the very best results. Some benefits of the alcohol based markers are:
You can blend so much easier! No more streaky pen lines in your colouring.
Double ended – Brush tip & Bullet tip.
They come in pairs – one light and one dark shade, to help make shading simple.
You can mix the colours together as you are blending to create so many different tones!
The Stampin’ Blends Markers can be used to colour Rhinestones and Pearls and Ribbons, and a range of embellishments! So easy to customise and co-ordinate! – (Check out the coloured Rhinestones in my previous posts HERE and HERE)
I’ve used the markers to colour this card. I love the Garden Girl stamp set, and she’s perfect for shading and colouring..
And another card made with the same stamp set and Stampin’ Blends Markers…
These really are some of the very first cards I’ve made using the Blends markers, so I can tell you they really are simple to use. I also found the perfect storage – all 27 Markers fit in two of our Wood Mount stamp cases!..
And so now I hear you desperately wanting to get your hands on the Markers too! They are available from November 1st! You’ll be able to order them online HERE or simply contact me here to place your order. You can order the markers individually or as a whole set!

Happy Stampin’& Colouring!
Recently one of my team members lost a much loved furry member of their family. I know how heart breaking this can be so pulled out the Bella & Friends stamp set to let her know I was thinking of her….
The background of this card was done by stamping the flowers and embossing with white embossing powder, then I used an Aquapainter to pick up just a little white craft ink from the lid of the ink pad, and used this to white wash the flowers. I love the effect..
Bella was coloured with our new Stampin’ Blends Markers. These markers will be available for everyone to purchase from November 1st! If you would like information on my Stampin’ Blends Marker Club, make sure you sign up to my newsletter!!
Today I have a Double Z Fold card using stamps from both the Watercolor Christmas & the Ready for Christmas stamp set. I’ve used a couple of my favourite colours – Bermuda Bay & Rich Razzelberry. Here’s the front – I LOVE the little bauble images!!!.
And it opens up to more fun inside!
Super easy to make. You’ll need –
Bermuda Bay cardstock – 29.6 cm x 10.5cm. Score along the long side at 7.4cm & 14.8cm
Rich Razzelberry cardstock – 24cm x 8cm. Score along the long side at 8cm & 16 cm
Fold along all score lines. You then simply stick the Rich Razzelberry card onto the Bermuda bay as pictured and decorate! Easy and a fun way to make a card that you can sit of a bench to display!
Have a great day!
