Incentive Trip Part 2 – Home Office

This part of the Incentive Trip was one of my favourites.  It’s the day that we visited Stampin’ Up!’s “Home Office” in Riverton, Utah.  This is where the magic happens – there the stamps are designed, events planned and those fabulous brown boxes are packed and dispatched to demonstrators around the US and Canada.  (Our boxes of goodies are of course dispatched from Sydney, Aus).

We arrived at Home Office, through the front doors, to the most amazing welcome…..

This was the point where it really hit home, as to the fact that we were in the US, at Home Office – and if you’d told me 6 years ago that this would be one of the trips I’d be taking with Stampin’ Up! I would have laughed at you!  And so as the tears began to fall I looked around and realised I wasn’t the only one!  It was such an overwhelming experience!

We got a couple of pictures taken in the gorgeous centre of home office – Myself and hubby Warren, with Bec & Matt Ross:

And I got a photo taken with Shelli!  What better place to have a photo with Shelli, then in the home of SU!

Homeoffice3

And posing for our “Australian Achievers” photo.  This year the largest number of demonstrators achieved this trip!  (Who wouldn’t work their butts off to visit this location?! )

And the tour began.  We got to see through all the offices, where samples are made, stamps are designed, phones are answered…. I giggled at this area…. Surely they tidied up before we visited…Who’s crafting area is EVER this tidy!

Homeoffice5

Well actually we know they “tidied” up as everyone seemed to be on the look out for accidental sneak peaks of coming products! hahahaha.

Everywhere we went there were displays of creativity.

And then we entered the warehouse!  Our first view:

Just a tiny bit of crafting supplies there: haha

The beginning of the line for those empty brown boxes:

Labelling boxes so they know their warehouse route…

I found it amazing how the order picking process worked!  Those brown boxes are so smart!  They know when to stop in a section of product – the product needed lights up on the shelf, and the person pops it into the box and the box continues to the next section required!

And finally off to dispatch!

We were treated to a gorgeous Pizza lunch and in true Stampin’ Up! style, all the finishing touches are thought of:

It was such an amazing day!  We raced out for a couple of final pictures:

I still can’t believe I was there!

We then headed back into Salt Lake City… we were able to grab ANOTHER couple of hours shopping and dinner before heading back “home” to the St Regis completed stuffed… we needed an early night as the following day we would be up at 4:30am to visit the Stampin’ Up! Manufacturing Facility in Kanab!  But that will have to be a post for tomorrow! 🙂
