I thought I was so organised last week and had everything organised before I left for Melbourne for our annual Stampin’ Up! Convention in Melbourne…. well everything except my blog posts! And once we arrived there Tuesday night, there just wasn’t a moment free, so here I am finally to show you a few of my swaps. The pics are a little sunny as I quickly took them before I left.
This first swap is using the Build a Cupcake Punch! Can you see how? The top of the icecream is the top of the cupcake from the punch, topped with the gorgeous little cherry. The cone is just a triangle cut out and run through the Lattice Embossing Folder.
Colours are Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip & Pretty in Pink.
One of the fun aspects of convention is meeting up with our team members who live all over Austraila! We held a team get together on Thursday evening in our apartment, and had nibblies, drinks and a special team swap. It was heaps of fun and a great way for our team members to meet up with eachother so they had familiar faces at convention! Each year our team has a little “thing” to identify eachother. This year I thought some little ribbon flower badges using out beautiful striped grosgrain ribbon would be good. So here’s what I came up with:
I was able to source (thanks Yvonne 🙂 ) some cute brightly coloured scarves that seemed to suit our colours perfectly! I wrapped some of our designer series paper around as a belly band, and attached the ribbon flower brooch. I gave these to all of my first level team members! Pretty cute hey! All of my team members were able to get a flower brooch at our get together. Thanks a heap to Chrissie for using her talent at sewing to produce all these flowers!
Our team get together was a heap of fun and the swaps were fantastic! Was a very crowded apartment!
I’ll be back tomorrow, with more piccies and projects from convention!
