I’m hope you are having a lovely Easter weekend.  I got to spend last night stamping with one of my team members & friend.  I spend the entire night (till 2am actually) finally putting ink to a very cute stamp set – “Everybunny”.  It’s so cute and I wanted to use it on some last minute Easter goodies.  We’re having brunch at my place this year, so I made some simple Chocoalte Sliders for everyone – boy bunny for the boys and girl bunny for the girls!

I had a couple of bunnies left over so also make a quick little bunny garland for above the brunch table on Sunday.  I love the Baker’s Twine that’s used to hang the garland!   The picture isn’t the best as it’s hanging from my cupboards in my stamp room at the moment (you can click on the pic to make it bigger):

Last weekend we had the first of our weekend retreats for the year!  It’s actually out 7th retreat!  I can’t believe we’ve had 7 now!  I chose Melon Mambo and Peach Parfait for our “theme” this time… (Which my sister nicknamed “Porange” as in Pink & Orange) LOL.  Here’s the set up before all the ladies arrived…

Tomorrow we say goodbye to the Summer Mini Catalogue!  Last weekend we had our retreat and I used a couple of things from the Summer mini for one of the retreat make & takes…  I thought I’d better pop in and show you!

A little envelope accordian album using the Spiced Paisley stamp set and it’s matching Designer Series Paper – Spice Cake.  Love these two, and yet again Stampin’ Up! make it super easy to co ordinate projects!

It was one of the school mum’s birthday last week and I had a box of choccies I wanted to decorate for her.  As I tend to leave everything to the last minute, I was rushing in the morning, before I remembered it was still bare.  A quick colour selection and a boring box of chocolates turn into a pretty gift.  I always say that my favourite thing about Stampin’ Up! is how everything co ordinates easily…  Designer Series Paper & Cardstock in Melon Mambo & Tangerine Tango.. easy.  Blossom Party Die to cut out a couple of flowers and a Happy Birthday stamp (Perfect Punches set) and co ordinating oval puch so I didn’t have to cut a thing by hand.  This literally took me 5 minutes…. the only thing I wasn’t happy with was the glitter in the centre of the flower, but oh well…

As soon as I saw the Designer Series Paper in the Sale A Bation brochure I fell in love with it!  Just gorgeous!  An Ikea Shadow from waiting on my craft desk to be decorated, so I popped in my fav sheet of this DSP as soon as I received my order!  It sat like that for a while and I admired the paper daily… until I realised how easy it was to finish off!  By using the picture in the Sale A Bration brochure as inspiration!  I added the same butterfly panel that’s in the brochure and here’s the finished result!:

The scallop square and the butterfly were both cut from our chipboard and cardstock to add some dimension and the Poppy Parade butterfly has been embossed with clear embossing powder with one of the images from the Fresh Vintage SAB stamp set:

I love how easy it was to co ordinate everything in this project!  And that’s always one of the fabulous things about Stampin’ Up!  – that everything co ordinates so simply.

A big HELLO if anyone is still reading this much neglected Blog!   I defintely haven’t forgotten about you and I do think about you often  .  We have gotten back into a routine with school and sports and I’ve been a little busy preparing for our upcoming Retreat on the 23rd of March.  I can’t believe this will be our 7th Weekend Stampin’ & Scrappin’ Retreat!  I can’t wait, they are always heaps of fun!

 Well I can hardly believe that I haven’t posted since October!  Where did that time go?  We took a family holiday to Fiji, in conjunction to the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip.  I never did get to post about the wonderful time Stampin’ Up! treated us to.  I might have to go a re cap at some time.  Christmas came and went so quickly and tomorrow I’m taking my big girl off to her first day of high school and my baby off to grade 1!
