Sweet Treat Petals

Well after nearly 11 years of having children and babies at home, I must say I’m enjoying the three days a week that I now have child FREE!!!  It’s sooo quiet!!

I finally got to play with the Sweet Treat Cups last week - they’re in the current Summer Mini (p8) and you get 12 in a pack for $6.50.   They come with a sticky side, so that they simply stick to your project.  You can add seeds, buttons, glitter etc or there’s plenty of ways around to make little access holes to slide open and get out the treats you put inside…but I wanted to make mine a little different so here’s what I did.

I stamped the big flower from the Petal Pizzazz set in Tangerine Tango, as well as the leaves in Kiwi Kiss and “See You Around” Jumbo Wheel in the background on Summer Sun.

The Treat Cup is filled with M&M’s!  Notice no reds and blues…. couldn’t waste those! hehe…

So to get into the cup, just remove the brad, and spin the flower section…

And from behind, you simply slide out the insert and there’s the M&M’s!!!

And guess what!  My card STILL has the M&M’s in them!  I’m so proud of myself for not eating them yet!!!

Card Keeper Class, be organised for 2010!

Am I the only one who looks at the calendar and realises far too late that there’s a birthday and I need to make a card at the last minute?  Well this class is for you!

Come along and you’ll get to decorate a fantastic Forget me not card keeper box and make dividers for each month.  You can then take it home, and write in all the birthdays you have coming up during the year, and behind each divider, put in a card for each birthday!  You could write on them, stamp the envelopes and at the beginning of each month they’ll be ready to send, stress free!!

Here’s some pics to give you an idea how it works:

Christmas Cards ‘09!

What a busy time it’s been!  I assume everyone is busy this time of year though! :)

Over here the kids finished school last Friday so we had break ups etc, My In Laws were here for a week to visit, we had our Stampin’ Up regionals training day and our team Christmas dinner afterwards, I helped my best friend move into her new house, and my hubby and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary with a weekend away….  And this was all within a week! LOL  But having said that I got most of my Christmas cards sent a few weeks ago now, though there are some more to do…  So I thought I’d show you two of this year’s Christmas cards.  I used the stamp set Snow Swirled and some “bling” which I’m a little addicted to at the moment!  The pics just don’t show how cute and sparkly they are IRL!

Gift Bags..

With Christmas coming, packaging gifts often needs to be quick and easy.  I made a couple of other gifts for last weekend and these bags were perfect to package them in.  They come plain white, from an art and craft shop and they’re made out of this fabric/material stuff, but it’s light and DO NOT try to heat set or emboss any ink onto them as they will melt immediately! ;)  You can see the fabric better in the last pic.  I stamped directly onto them with our Classic Ink pads, and used the Cropodile to add some holes for ribbon and a rhinestone brad to hold the bag closed.  Then a little tag as well!  Easy and very cute!

The first one was a little gift for one of our team members who promoted to Supervisor just last week!  I added a few goodies from our Stampin’ Up! Momento Mall at convention this year…  I used the Priceless stamp set to stamp with:

Next was a little gift for a fellow Demonstrator with some Body Shop goodies inside…  This time decorated with the Flower Fancy set:

Gift for Chrissie!

Well I must apologize for the break in transmission!  These glitches always happen on Friday afternoons when they can’t be rectified till Monday! LOL  So here’s the piccies I tried to post Friday…

This is a little pressie I made for one of my team members Chrissie who promoted to Snr Supervisor recently!  Decorated a gift bag for her goodies:

chris01

I decorated a letter C with Chrissies favourite Designer Series Paper - Raspberry Tart.  The “C” is from Splosh and I love their letters as they’re chunky.

And next I decorated a note book for her also.  The alphabet stamps are the jumb outline set.
