On the 14th of May I headed to Europe on an amazing Emirates plane (OMG how will I ever travel on any other airline) with my son to attend the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip which was an amazing Mediterranean Cruise. I extended the trip a little and firstly traveled to Paris with my son, sister, brother in law and my parents. We had an amazing week in Paris visiting as many places as we could. We took a segway tour through Paris, Bike tour through Versailles, admired Paris from the top of Monparnasse Tower and the Arch de Triomphe, picnicked at the Eiffle Tower, visited the Lourve, visited Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, the Seine, rode the Metro, met with family and travelled out to Epernay to visit the Champagne region. The thousands of steps we walked each day were nothing to counteract the pastries, wine and cheese that we consumed this week! 🙂
By the time we jumped on the SNCF train to Barcellona we were exhausted and I was still pinching myself – had I just spent a week in Paris?
It was in Barcellona that we jumped onto the Norwegian Epic Cruise boat with hundreds of other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators for 6 nights of amazement.
On the first day of the cruise we got to hear from Shelli and Sara as well as other fantastic Stampin’ Up! staff to see new products in action!
And the following days we docked in the most amazing locations. We stopped in Naples and visted Pompeii, Sorrento & Positano.
The next day we stopped in Rome. This was another huge day as we visited the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Vatican Museum.
It was also my birthday and my amazing sister organised shirts for the day and for our cruise cabin to be decorated!
Our next stop was a visit to Pisa & Florence
And then back to France with a stop at Cannes.
Our last stop was Marseilles, France where we had lunch at the top of the basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde .
On top of the amazing locations that Stampin’ Up! took us to, each day we would return to our room to find amazing pillow gifts.
Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip are so unlike holidaying on your own as you get spoilt from start to finish. The welcome we receive, through to the perfectly planned holiday, pillow gifts, daily prizes and staff on hand through the hospitality room, project displays, demonstrations and last but not least, holidaying with so many other demonstrators from all over the world – you can literally turn around on the boat, and chat with someone you’ve never met before but you feel like old friends! And how many holidays can you return home with an amazing stack of new Stampin’ Up! goodies!!!….. this barely fit in my suitcase!
