I’m currently on the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip which is a Western Carribean Cruise, stopping at Jamaica, Mexico and Haiti. I was so thrilled to have earned the trip over the past 12 months, and at every Incentive Trip we have a swap – where we take along a set of cards we’ve made that are swapped among the other attendees and we then get to bring home lots of ideas and samples! This year’s Incentive Trip also includes demonstrators from New Zealand, Europe, Canada and America. So a great opportunity to share ideas world wide!
This is the card I chose to do for my swap. It’s using the Peaceful Petals stamp set that I showed you yesterda. This time I’ve stamped the images with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder onto watercolour paper.I’ve then watercoloured the images using Strawberry Slush and Pear Pizzaz ink and my Aqua Painters. This way you can control the amount of ink you pick up with your Aqua Painter to get the different shades of colour.
I love that Versamark ink also produces a watermark effect when used on its own to stamp a background…Can you see the flower image as the background on the Strawberry Slush base card?
I love the Ruffle Stretch Trim Ribbon!
And you may like to check out the Label Love stamp set I’ve also used. It comes with a matching punch as a bundle to save you money and time!
