Stampin’ Up! Rosette Christmas Tree

Hi Everyone!

I realised I haven’t shared with you the Rosette Christmas Tree that I had made as a part of our Expo display.  And I’ve made a couple since then as well!

Firstly (as I’d run out of my favourite Christmas Designer Series Paper) I used my 12 x 12 Paper Stacks and chose Wild Wasabi & Garden Green.  The Stampin’ Up! Rosette XL Bigz Die makes it so easy to cut the pieces needed to make the tree! – It’s simply strips of paper cut at varying widths.

After making the tree I discovered that one of the Decorative Window Gift Boxes would make the perfect tree base.  I then punched some little Glimmer Paper circles and hot glued them on as decoration:

Then I had to make one using the Season of Style Designer Series Paper:

And then the reverse side of the Season of Style Designer Series Paper – this time I added a couple of Rhinestones with the Glimmer Paper for decoration:

The Rosette Die is a little pricey, but I have used it so much for so many different occasions, I have definitely gotten every dollars worth out of it!

We even made a huge number as the pew decorations for my sister’s wedding last year!:

My next project with the die will be a Rosette Christmas Wreath!

Hope you enjoyed this!  Can you believe Christmas will be here in just a month!  Make sure you check out the Stampin’  Up! catalogue!  There are amazing gift ideas for all your crafty friends and family – and don’t forget to get a pressie for yourself too!

    Hello Kim,

I absolutely LOVE this idea for your homemade Christmas tree! I would love to make one, and am wondering what is between the layers (to keep them apart), and also, is there a center stick that you have hot glued them to? Or are they just layered? Last of all, how did you attach the jewel at the top? I appreciate your help, and look so forward to making this for some friends 🙂 Thank you so much,
