Wednesday finally came!! We checked in and I shared the first celebratory drinks with Robyn, Sharon, Marelle and Dave, before heading down to attend our welcome dinner. I was thrilled to find we were seated with a fabulous group of fellow demonstrators and their partners….We ended up being the loudest table in the room!!!! There’s Vicki & Steve Dean, Jayne and Gareth Mercer and Marelle and Dave Taylor!
The laughing continued to drinks afterwards:
And then finding this in our rooms waiting for us!!
Thursday saw us floating across the Noosa River to Ricki’s Restaurant for a fun Cooking activity!
We had an awesome team of chef’s from Ricki’s leading us with our culinary delights!
Afterwards I was lucky to head off to the Sheraton Spa with Liz (a fellow Demo) for an indulgent 90 min massage! It was an awesome, relaxing way to spend the afternoon!
Thursday night saw us at the Noosa Surf Club for Karaoke!! Here’s a couple of “carefully” selected pics:
And again we returned to find a pressie!
We can’t show you what was in this one, but I can tell you it’s some fun new products coming up in our December Summer Mini Catalogue! A never before seen stamp set, punch and accessories!
The Make and Take session on Friday morning was great fun! Lots of Swapping! And stamping with great friends – Kelly, Karen, Robyn, Liz & Janine!
And finally a group photo of all the Australian and New Zealand Demonstrators who attended the trip:
And check out what Stampin’ Up! brought out for our a great stamping treat!!
Friday evening, hubby and I took a breather and went out for dinner together and spent the evening relaxing. Saturday we rose at 5:30am to join with 15 others to head out to Frazer Island! The Boys showed us just how tough they are by braving the cold water at Lake Makenzie and us girls watched from the sunny shores. We introduced Shelli to the Aussie “sausage sizzle”.
We literally had to race back to the Sheraton and made it in time with just 45 minutes to wash out the sand and get ready for our final dinner together! It was a surprise, and we were thilled to find vintage cars to take us to dinner at the Plantation which was set up BEAUTIFULLY for us! We had a lovely evening, chatting eating (passing on the rolls though 🙂 ) and stargazing, before heading home exhausted!
The next morning – Sunday, we were able to wake slowly as we didn’t have a plane to catch! We wandered down to breakfast and enjoyed the last morning, a little sad that all the excitement and fun was over! We said goodbye to good friends, to the hotel, and made our way home, excited to see our kids!!! I must say Stampin’ Up! really does an amazing job of spoiling us!!!
